Positive growth.
Based in Toronto, Canada, Sky Scraper Carbon was born in 2023 from one question: How can an urban city environment –covered in concrete & glass, and not forests or fields –contribute to reducing our global carbon footprint?
We found our path in something we never thought we would. Algae. Yes, the same algae that we find in ponds, the grasslands of Lake Ontario, or even (but hopefully not) in the bottom of your hockey bag.
In Toronto, and other largely populated cities around the world, we choose roads, offices, and shops instead of trees. But this isn’t real estate lost. We just need to find the “wild” in the heart of the city.
By leveraging micro-algae tanks in city centres, open areas and commercial rooftops, we can reduce our carbon footprint and change the world.
Nature, in the common sense, refers to essences unchanged by man; space, the air, the river, the leaf.
